I like the idea, and I think I'm going to do this at some point when I have time to kill. My hotmail account picks up spam like a staticky comb picks up pepper.

I want to cancel my hotmail account for the same reason but people keep sending me important stuff there so I have been reluctant.

so I'll do some research one day into what kinds of keywords would grab a spider's attention. Then I'll generate a several-meg large webpage consisting only of fake emails. I get occasional personal emails through hotmail, though more often anything I'd read is just an LJ or xanga notification. My hotmail account is pretty good for one thing, though. If I ever have to sign up for something with an email address, I can use that one since it's already tainted, so to speak.
