When my new planner arrived in the mail from calendars.com, it was very thick and heavy -- markedly more so than last year's.  Upon close inspection, I discovered that it contained an additional five months: August through December 2012.  Since those are long gone, and I wish to have a more manageable item, I unceremoniously ripped out those five ( Read more... )

I might start writing in this journal again, for my own benefit.  I'm rather glad I chronicled certain things, and wish I had chronicled others.

I'm saddened by the decline of livejournal while simultaneously embracing the transient nature of all things internet.

I'm no LOST theorist -- I much prefer to watch the series unfold on its own, but my pop-culture lives are weaving together.  For months, I've been asking my boyfriend, who had 13 years of parochial school, about the Bible story of Jacob and Esau.  Unfortunately, he knows less about it than I do.
