my parents are coming tomorrow and i'm excited! so there!

i'm coming home nov. 21st-nov. 26th and i'm bringing my nice jewish boy with me and i'd better see most if not all of my friends. especially since i was scarce this summer and will be home very little over winter break.

just to top it all off, just to finish off the past 6 weeks with a bang, just to pin a smile on it...i have been a victim of credit card fraud and have to close my accounts and reopen them because apparently, someone in romania has decided to fuck with my life a little bit.

at least at this point, i'm laughing.

i just want my dad's cancer to never come back.

it's treatable, beatable, and survivable....but its cancer.

my dad came through surgery just fine--we are very happy that it went well. there are still a few question marks, though. mainly, the side effects of the surgery won't set in (if they do) until tomorrow or the next day, so he sort of has to get worse before he can get better, which might be scary ( Read more... )

just talked to my daddy. he sounded great. they started doing his pre-op stuff today, a major part of which was cutting of the blood supply to the tumor. This makes it easier for the surgeon to remove it, and it also tells them a lot about the nature of the tumor.
