Weirdest show ever

On the bill:

True Colors Tour: Cyndi Lauper, Erasure, Debbie Harry, & Dresden Dolls

I'm sorry Dresden Dolls, but I'm thinking that you are just odd-man-out in this nostalgiafest!

heck, that makes me more likely to want to see this show.

DD is a pretty nostalgic band (though that's different from being objects of nostalgia, of course) - they do a mean "War Pigs" and have references to the Stones and the Doors in their song lyrics. Not that this makes them fit in any more with the other bands on the bill...

a few co-workers are going to go, but i decided against it, since i don't think i'm up for a 5 hour concert...even if it is at radio city!

yes, we know how we feel about concerts at radio city-- where we old people can sit down! :)

I heard about it from HRC, and San Diego is driveable at 6-7 hours, but they're not coming to my town. If you go, have fun!
