I haven't decided yet, but I don't have a man yet so. IDK why people don't get that A WOMAN can NOT have a huge urge to have children. I don't right now, and I don't really see myself being a moment. It could change but right now hush up.

lol I know, I can't tell you how many times I've been called selfish for it.

I'm normally pretty cool about it, I try not to bring it up unless someone asks because of the surprising responses I've gotten. I tell people I don't want kids and they act like I killed their puppy. But this lady in the doctor's office today just would NOT leave me alone about it, urgh, and it pissed me off so bad.

I agree with all of this. I do not want children. Whatsoever. I don't even want to be a surrogate for anyone. I'm only 19, but I'm set on this idea and it's not going to change. My sister got mad at me because she asked me that if she wasn't able to have children would I have a child for her. I answered "no" and my mom and her called me selfish. :/

lol yeah, I lucked out on finding a man who didn't want children either. And that was a decision he made before he met me, just as I made the decision before I met him. We were just lucky to find one another. I mean, other men would be all, "You need to help me propogate my genes" and whatnot, and other women would be like, "But I want a baaaaaaabbbbbyyyyyy!"

One or two of our more conservative friends give us crap for it sometimes, though. Our families aren't demanding grandchildren, though, so that's something.

... Wait, so you want me to HAVE A CHILD on the off chance that it will magically make me feel totally different on the subject of children? What if it doesn't? What happens the kid? :/

Also, pregnancy is terrifying to me.

I'm not sure if I want kids myself either. At 16, when my eldest nephew was born, I was sure being a mother someday was what I wanted more than anything. Now I don't know anymore. I mean, I still love my nephew, and his little brother and my sister's little girl. I love them more than anything in the world, including myself, and I know my brother and sister are both happy in their lives, I just don't know anymore if that's what I want. Sometimes I think it's all I want (usually after babysitting where they're being adorable and melting my heart), but there are so many other things I want to do as well, and I don't know where a child would fit in with those things

I just got married 15 months ago and already I'm fed up of people asking when it's baby time.

You're doing the right thing not having them if you don't want them, look how many people are shitty parents because they get pregnant by mistake.
