I took pictures after each session of work on this painting. Apparently I worked on it for seven days over many months. It should give an idea of how basic my initial outline is, and how I work. Here they are.

A mid-week day off today, since I'll be working the weekend. The greatest traditions are popping up around here. My MCAT test is next Saturday. It's a really, really, really hard test. It's like 5 hours long, and tests you on physics, chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, verbal reasoning and writing skills

After something like a year of sporadic work, I am finally finished with the portrait of Mr. Marshall. What a handsome guy! I enjoyed every minute of caressing him with my brush ^_^
After something like three weeks, I have at last finished The Mysteries of Udolpho, written in 1794 by Ann Radcliffe. At 672 extremely dense and dialogue-deficient pages, I can agree with the author of the preface, who writes: "Art is long and life is short and Udolpho is long indeed
