Janet closed the door to Daniel's apartment quietly behind her, her backpack slung over her shoulder and her suitcase trailing along behind her. She was maybe a little too tired and jetlagged to check the halls as carefully as she normally did, though.

Janet and Daniel were in the cabin of their cruise ship. Janet had souvenirs piled on the bed around her. She was also kind of glaring in Daniel's general direction every once in a while, in a 'we nearly missed the boat and you would die painfully again if we had' kind of way.

Morning came entirely too early. Not that Janet had gone to sleep late, but she didn't particularly want to get out of bed right now. Or talk to Liz. Or anyone, really. So she lay in bed with her eyes closed, pretending to sleep. With any luck, she'd fall back asleep again soon.

Janet was up early, and munched on an apple while laying in bed and reading. Coffee was brewing, but was not, as yet, done.

Classes were over. She'd given birthday presents to Sam. The seniors had graduated and she'd had a chat with Liz while waiting for the ceremony to begin.

And the school should really ask a portion of the fee back from those gremlin hunters, because she was pretty sure that they wouldn't have had to worry about a giant, inflatable gremlin ( Read more... )

Janet had avoided answering her phone all yesterday. The caller ID read 'Murray' each and every time, and she'd let it go to voice mail. Today, though, was not a day to avoid Teal'c. Staying buried underneath her blankets for the rest of the day was conceivably an option.

Janet woke up very, very, very early and yawned and stretched. And climbed out of her very big bed and got dressed in her favoritest red sweater ever and went looking for breakfast.

Ooooooh. Breakfast was leftover Easter candy! Yummy!

Janet glared at her laptop.

The monitor was blue. And full of gibberish.

This wasn't very good.
