Dude, I've been thinking about the quarantine on the inside since I saw it. The surface of the island is BAD. Maybe hiding/watching/studying the "monster"?
Locke is an idiot and I will never forgive him for killing Boone. (Okay, so the plane did it, but LOCKE CAUSED IT.) I hope Desmond shoots him.
Did Jack's flashback!mullet scare you too?
Desmond was all like, "I was almost a doctor." or whatever and I had INSTANT flashbacks to Montgomery from The Island of Dr. Moreau, but I think that idea's been beaten to death already.
Lmao. My first thought when the magnet thing showed up was that the hatch was actually on the surface and the ISLAND was on the inside and they were hanging upside down with the magnet causing to them to somehow stick to a ceiling that they thought was the ground.
My brain actually hurts from that episode! talk about a brain overload. Entirely too much information to process in one night -- that's what I love about this show!
I'll try not to go all tangent-y and put my thoughts here, I'll make a post of my own for that, but I just wanted to respond to a few of your thoughts that really stuck out to me. Sorry, I haven't ready any of the other comments in this post, so if I repeat something already said, I apologize.
Re: Jack, the healer: Of course, then why couldn't he save Boone? -Boone told Jack to let him go. Maybe he didn't want to be saved. We'll never know if cutting off Boone's leg *whimper* could have saved him, or if he could have been saved some other way because Boone asked Jack to let him go. ...Is my thought on that.
Desmond was the one who said 'what if you did fix her'. Do you think Desmond has any relation to all of that? -Yes. He told Jack to "lift it up." And then Jack lifted up Sara's blanket to see her feet wiggling. Did he make that happen? Well, most likely not since Sara said she could wiggle her toes and THEN he lifted up the sheet. But I just thought that was interesting.
And I'm trying to figure out what it was that Walt said
( ... )
aaaand also, about that whole hallucination- Rose said that "it" sounded like something from home in the Bronx or whatever. Maybe that was only how SHE heard it.

And then I told her to shut up and she grumbled and went off to watch soap operas.

Didn't see the premiere yet, but loved your theories. Made me reminiscent of our early Lost days. And this line killed me. Hear hear!
