Now watch, with a title like that, I'm going to end up making this post really short. You KNOW it'll happen. I'm in a bit of a haze right now, as far as thoughts are concerned. Why? Well ALIAS started last night and that's... ya know... time consuming. :) THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR LOST AND ALIAS!

Desmond is waiting for Hurley. Hurley asked that exact same joke in season one.

Desmond clearly believes that there was some sort of biological plague that ravaged the earth. It explains the antidote he keeps injecting.

The symbol on the shark is real.

I was right about him punching in the numbers every so many hours as a failsafe to prevent something bad from happening. :)

Have you ever heard of the Philadelphia Experiment or Project Montauk? I could post some stuff about those conspiracy theories that will totally blow your mind in relation to this show. It explains A LOT of what is going on...

That's not only exactly what I was thinking (yay for me being kind of smart lol) but it gets brought up by my dad and my brother every few weeks when we watch Lost! So... this is crazy, seriously. It's so cool that a second person, knowing nothing of us talking about it, has brought it up. That MUST mean something.

I totally agree with you. I'm sick of all the VARTANS OUT, I AM OUT business. I'm sorry, but he wasn't the most interesting, and this is what Alias needs. It needed the shock (even if it did mostly get out) and most of all, it was necessary to give Sydney some drive.

Oh my gosh! Words out of my mouth. I think Sydney is always more interesting when she has a purpose. Season four? She had little to no purpose. Season three was interesting cause she was badass. Season two was interesting because she again had purpose. Season one... You see the trend. LOL But Season four blew because Syd had no real reason for doing anything.

No one wants to watch someone just conduct themself with no purpose. Otherwise it's just... kinda... boring. LOL Now she gets to be like "YOU KILLED MY BABY DADDY!? I.KILL.YOU."

Argh. I hate people who are petty over stuff. And you're so right, he wasn't the most interesting. He was... well he was captain cardboard for a lot of the time. Damn... they need to bring Will or Sark back and let him be Syd's new baby daddy. LOL

Totally. Sydney needs drive in order to be empowered kickass Syd. The best kind of Sydney. I think we might get that back again finally. I loved in Season 1&2 when she was kick ass and vulnerable at the same time. This year she'll be strong and angry but then also grieving her loss. That and some pregnancy hormones? Awesome.

"YOU KILLED MY BABY DADDY!?" LOL. I've been using that exact phrase too, it's so true. I can't wait to see her kick ass about it.

They need to bring back Sark, they really too. There are so many Sarkney fic opportunities with her 'crossing the line' and not being afraid to go a little bad. I've been through things where my favourite character was killed off.

I loved Boone, he was actually my favourite, but I didn't go all petty about it. When they killed Tara on Buffy, yeah, I was pissed about it, and it contributes to my hate of Joss, but I didn't stop watching.

Heehe I am such a Sarkney fan, it's sick. LOL

And yeah I liked Boone a lot too. And just like you I'm not Petty. It's simply a matter of recognizing the need for evolution. No way I would stop watching Lost because Boone went - I mean, there's tons of other great characters anyway.

Ya know, I never got into Joss, and I always feel bad about that.

I don't know what to say other than I really really loved Kate like you did in this eppy and the shark logo rocked my world. It took me like 2382 rewinds on Tivo to see it with my own eyes. But finally, paydirt. And Jin is alive. I was worrying about him the whole episode. And I think you and chromatick pretty much made my brain explode at the bottom of this thread so the less said by me about that the better. Onto next week!

Just sayin-Marshall rocks. I haven't watched Alias all that much, last season was the first 'entire season for Laur' season so I'm still piecing together people-relationships and stuff but yeah, looking forward to the blonde chick from The Inside (which was a decent show, dammit) and he butting heads. And oh my, Jen was OBVIOUSLY packing more boobage than usual, especially in that scene where she's dressed up and speaking french. I hope it doesn't get in the way too much.. I love seeing her kick ass and, well, now that Vaughn is dead (*sob*) she'll probably be even MORE protective of baby Isabelle since now ( ... )

Lost: Okay good, I'm glad people have seen the logo with their own eyes. My copy is so poor that I can't see it. LMAO chromatick is a great thinker! So good for Lost theorizing. Why is it that guys are always the good thinkers? lol Damn it.

Short Lost comment:

Where does Desmond plug in his record player? Seriously, that preppy song is so creepy now. Who didn't get chills when that song suddenly started playing in the hatch. Happy songs in tense situations are even scarier than suspenseful music.

Desmond is a leprechaun!! I want him to be a leprechaun! He has chocolate, for heaven's sake. On Lost, that's like the equivalent of a pot of a gold.

I was watching Crossing Jordan! I think the table has been turned on Woody and Jordan. He's using her now, but Jordan just takes it more personally.

I nearly cried when I saw Nigel's hair. For a second, I thought the actor actually went out and cut it. *shivers.

i agree with what you said about Claire/Charlie i am in total agreement. the alias thing i haven't seen it and oh boy watching the alias premier next year is gonna be fun S/V in Cape Town see if it compares to the real one i live in South Africa and I've been there many times. um I don't believe Vaughns dead for the simple fact that when in gods name does anybody actually stay dead on that show they don't. and i agree blaming Jen for his leaving annoys the crap out of me
