Going to Maple Bay on the island tomorrow to visit my brother, his lady and my nephew. Should be a lovely time and a well needed H-O-L-I-D-A-Y. Looking forward to reading Moby Dick on the ferry and smoking joints in the woods. -
Progress... the art of.
I'm making progress on my portfolio basically by sacrificing any social activity that isn't mandatory. It's working pretty well but as the weather gets nicer I want to hang out more. I spent yesterday doing very little. It almost seemed wasteful except that doing nothing every once in a while is actually good for me. I did manage to dye my hair, now purpley-blue fading to whiteish. It looks weird and I don't care. I also watched the third Omen movie. I bought the box set last week. I just had the most needlessly stressful and just plain gross interaction with a customer at my work. I work in an organic grocery store on the Drive, it's really laid-back and awesome. Occasionally we have cranky or pissy customers. It's retail, people like to be mean to peons, whatever... I'm usually able to deal with people fairly and just ( Read more... ) -
