My task for the summer holiday is to seal and paint the garage floor. I began this task earlier in the year when I had a massive clear out of all the stuff surplus to requirements. Stage 2. There is now paint on the floor. It takes two days to dry before I can 2nd coat it and then another two days before I can return things to their home.

I'm wondering if I will open the door tomorrow and find mice stuck in the paint.....

Day 3.

There were no mice in the paint.

Today the paint was dry enough to walk on so I moved the shelving at the back of the garage forward, and sealed and painted right up to the back wall. I wasn't going to bother with this bit but it seems ridiculous not to since I have enough paint and there's enough space in front to move everything. I'm not really in any hurry so I may as well do the job properly. Doing so has only delayed finishing for about 2 days and I've managed to highlight a few more items for a tip-trip.
