I took a few more days off work this week much to my boss's dismay.

This time, we spent three days in London because if there was ever a time to spend some time in the capital, it's this summer.  It's busy and vibrant but there are no tourists which means it's not packed.

Today I dared to question the actions of a certain person I am related to by marriage.. this action has had me rather unceremoniously un-invited to Christmas dinner and despite my attempt to apologise, I was screamed at and called a liar.  I strongly suspect my name is mud in everyone's household this evening...

It took me ages to find something I would like to capture and I decided on a photo I took on an evening walk back in early Summer.  There is a row of canal boats  along a sweeping curve of the canal under an utterly fabulous sunset.

I'm just in the mood to be sitting in a pub garden/ balcony/deck, overlooking somewhere watery with the sun fading and the sky just turning the the same shade of pink as the gin in my glass. Preferably in the company of friend/friends.  Making plans for the fun times ahead with smiles on our faces and love in our hearts.
