Yesterday, I finally decided to start doing more cardio. I went to the gym, went on the treadmill, and actually jogged for 5 minutes out of 20. At the end of the workout, I was sweating like crazy, and I could not feel my legs, but I was completely euphoric, as I did not even come close to passing out

No pain, no gain.
The way i look at is is, if your muscles feel all bruisey the next day, thats because you gave then a good exercise just above their usual capacity.
Of curse, if it goes on for days, thats less fun.
But go you!
