Where Have I Been?
I haven't posted in over a year. Life has been crazy. I left my job at the nonprofit last August and I started working at Morgan Stanley. It's such a better environment for me. getting away
So it has been a difficult two weeks...my family and I are all having a difficult time with Rocky's death. It seems that he had end-stage liver disease and that still doesn't change anything. more loss
Rocky died on Saturday morning. I had planned to visit him at the hospital that day...I went to see his body anyway. I felt guilt for not going to see him during the week because of my work schedule. My parents were concerned I was going to have a nervous breakdown when I saw him. I can't explain the grief and the pain I feel because of his ( Read more... ) -
loss
we hospitalized Rocky yesterday and he's not doing any better right now...we have to check back at the end of the day but it's really clear that he's suffering and we'll have to put him to sleep...and i feel so guilty, if we had just taken him to the doctor a week ago, two weeks ago he might be ok, it wouldn't have gotten so bad...i feel like we ( Read more... ) -
it just gets worse
so Rocky woke up today worse than ever...we rushed him from one vet to another before someone finally told us what could be going on...they think he has something called Leptospirosis which seems to be rare but serious. The first doctor didn't give us much hope that the dog would survive so my sister and I had to decide to put him to sleep. A ( Read more... ) -

what a difference?
so the crazy hours, the stress, and the running around have ended at my job...at least for the rest of this month. I knew that having to get my normal 40 hour a week job done and then also lead two trainings in two different schools on wednesday and thursday afternoons which involved all the editing of lesson plans, coping and printing, organizing ( Read more... ) -
boundaries
Did you ever think about boundaries? How, where, and from whom do we learn about them. Two weeks ago someone said to me that I had difficulty being assertive and setting boundaries. creepy crawlers
so we have roaches in our apartment...i saw them before we moved in, i mentioned it at the lease signing and was assured that it would all be taken care of. We've lived in this apartment for almost 4 months and we still haven't seen an exterminator. So I am very annoyed because the roaches are now spreading to other areas of the apartment like ( Read more... ) -
season endings
So I don't have the time to really watch tv and the only show I am consistently faithful to is Gilmore Girls and that show had it's sesason finale last week. What was really funny is that I'm sitting there all in tears, by myself, feeling completely justified in crying at some tv show and Terence calls me and start freaking out because he can tell ( Read more... )
