I keep listing that I'm going to clear counters, reorder the pantry, etc. when I make cleaning lists. I have actually begun the process. I have moved the coffee maker to the other side of the sink, cleared all of the other counter (except near the phone) and made an honest-to-gosh food prep area. Yeah!!!! The kitchen for me was soooo difficult since I tend to keep stuff and have my own organization. I was lucky and mom organized my pantry, but she was surprised that there were absolutely NO doubles in my spices (of which I have a metric ton). I still need to label my bins, but they are staying in the bins and have been for over a month now.. :)

Have fun with the pantry and we were looking and found that Target had the best quality, selection, and price of Target, Walmart, & Bed,Bath, & Beyond.

Yay for kitchen organization!!! Raven has promised to help me put up the shelves in our new pantry area this weekend. It's time for Blackbird Tavern's big pre-Thanksgiving cleaning push. Go House Grey Goose!

Yep - right now I am bouncing between finishing of the kitchen and working on the living room and part of the hallway. Rorik is working on calling various charitable organizations about the organ, I would hate to just put it on the curb. I hate freecycle,the email is overwhelming and I don't want to deal with it. I really would have thought that someone would have liked it for a kids music room in a school or something.

Are you finding things that you're going to take to the Bowie Food Pantry? I have a box of stuff but can't get to them when they're open...or to any of their other collection sites before turkey day. Also, I have a pillar candle with a seahorse on the side and a shell pan that you can have if you wish.

Pantry shelves are up. The den is almost back to normal. I have some things to take to storage because I don't want to deal with them until after Thanksgiving...progress!
