I was talking to my friend today. He was thinking about transferring to UMCP, which would have been cool.  The only thing that he needed to do was maintain a good gpa, but with his harder classes that probably will not have happened.  So it sucks that he wont be coming here, which means he'll prolly stay at his school.  But then he said there will ( Read more... )

all these changes can suck, and hte adjustment can be all the tougher especially when so many other areas of life are still up in the air. but as people move around in your life, you will be surprised what opens up. I don't mean kick your friends to the curb to get new better ones (well one of your friends who shall remain nameless hahahaha maybe) but ultimately, we do change and when ppl's paths converge less you will see new ppl goign in your general direction a little more clearly (pardon the cheesey road metaphor). and sometimes, that can be an adventure that is worth seeking out the old friends to share in detail.

aww....my dad is growing up... /sniffle

the nameless should be kicked to the curb, or we should come out and visit you, one of the two. I'll give a ring today or soonish, thats the plan. Thanks.

High school was not where i found my best friends, so this is all a little different for me but here's my 2 cents: Some of my best friends are people i met in college, i have BARELY seen them in 2 years because I've been in Grad school in NC, but what makes me feel like we'll always be best friends is, when we do see eachother even though time has passed and we've changed, we still seem to pick up where we left off. Same with Suz and Jendi... friends since middle school and kindergarden respectively... we don't talk every day... not even every month, but when we hang out the trust that it took years to build is still there. I can still tell them everything and we still have some of the same silly jokes and we still know what each other is thinking. You and Joey and Spence and Jer will always have that, even when the day comes that you don't spend all your free time together...
