So I figured, but I still wasn't sure. The wikipedia article and LumberBaron set me straight on this one. The main reason for the confusion was an Israeli online retailer my cousin came across that warned consumers not to buy gaming systems abroad because they wouldn't work with local games. I'm guessing that it's either a warning they automatically add to all of their console gaming products, or that they're just being greedy bastards.
I'm pretty sure they're region free cause Shelly wouldn't let me have hers when she moved to Belgium...you could myspace her, or this post COULD ALREADY BE TOO LATE!!!! Sorry, I need sleep. Hope your mama had a good flight.
That's good. I keep thinking I should call her up and then I realize "oh yeah, Belgium, nevermind". Still, Belgium is really the last place I expected anyone I know to move to. Not for any bad reasons, mind you. It's just a weird European blindspot for me for reasons I can't quite explain.

Except for Chinese DS's, but I couldn't imagine that being a problem.
