ganked from james moran's blog:

Harvey Keitel has been cast as Gene Hunt in the US remake of Life On Mars. With Michael Imperioli as Ray Carling. And it will now be set in New York city. Dude. Mr White and Christopher Moltisanti in 70s New York, busting heads and driving cars through cardboard boxes. THROUGH NEW YORK CARDBOARD BOXES.

???

had no idea you've written this much, where have i been?

!!!!

Harvey Keitel would be brilliant, and what's especially funny is that we just watched Mean Streets for the first time a couple days ago. XDXDXDXD F'in 1973 New York. XDXDXDXDXD (Don't ask how we'd never seen it before; we just hadn't, somehow. XD;;;)

I have no doubt both would be brilliant in those roles, if they were written correctly (which, from the first US pilot, I'll be shocked if they are), and if they got rid of freakin' Jason O'Mara. Because the problem wasn't Colm Meaney as Gene Hunt, let me tell you. The writing failed him, and Jason O'Mara makes the dude who played Jesse Mowatt in the terrible film Unspeakable starring Lance Henriksen, Dina Meyer, and Dennis Hopper look like a fucking Royal Shakespearian. FOR SERIOUS. Did you see the original US pilot? The fact that anyone's hiring O'Mara for anything after that boggles my mind, because it's not as though he's memorably pretty, either. :P ( ... )

Could you possible give me your recipe for hummus? I remember it being AWESOME and I have a potluck tomorrow.
Thanks, love!

Sorry, I didn't see this until now. I've been at work most of the weekend, like I usually am, so I'm not online really much at all. I might pop in occasionally or do a drive-by posting from my phone (such as with the soy milk thing), but that's it. :P ( ... )
