Henry, the poor love, has naturally curly hair (ergo always having a short cut). Not conducive to the slick back Superman look. Though it does wonders for the curl.

Honestly, he looks like he's wearing rubber and I want to laugh at him. I have no doubts about him as an actor at all but IDEK what to think...

IDK either. I've never seen him in anything but am sure he can do a good job. But the outfit...blurgh.

Hate the hair. How much work would it have been to run a flat iron through Cavill's hair then to style it the way it should be?

I do like the S-curl hair though.

Yeah, his hair and expression are just not working for me. Too much of Bruce in the Super-suit. :/

Do like the colors, and I (surprisingly) like the shield. DO NOT like the extra-textured look of the suit, though. It's much too reminiscent of Mystique, and MAN, is that ever the wrong thing for Supes (even though I love Mystique).

Didn't much care for the pics with him and the curl, either. I dunno... I guess I'm just used to Clark looking long and lean and not too beefy.

Yep, way too much Batman in there. And now that you said that, I can't unsee the Mystique!suit, lol. *sigh*

I'm okay with somewhat beefy Clark, like in the S-curl pictures. Probably because Chris was beefier, rather than lean. I guess a lot of people have Brandon as their default image of Superman now, though? Which is just as good, of course, just different.

So trying to be optomistic but it is hard. Maybe it's like the first pic released of Brandon in SR didn't wow me, but when I started seeing teasers and him in actual footage I got major goosebumps, maybe it will be similar in this case...well, then again probably not. Brandon is still my Superman. He just is.
