anyone have an idea for a modern day substitute for those over the ancle lace up boots? I had a powder pink pair back in 1986 that ROCKED with my pink crop denim jacket. I could totally wear that over a black lacy dress.

I hope the thrift shops will be kind this weekend!

I don't know about pink, but I'm pretty sure they still make boots like that in at least black (and probably brown). Or am I picturing the wrong things? 'Cause I'm thinking something similar to the granny boot.

I guess that 80's prom theme at Nationals went over well, then.

They should've gone Pimps and Ho's and had more controversy than you can throw a cipher of emo poets at. ;)
