Not really actually, was just thinking of generic-looking lady and since it was supposed to be a bookplate, decided to throw in some random symbol of knowledge. But then now that I think about it, they did enjoy myths and what not during that time, so that probably fits.. Personally didn't like the story though..xD

i like how you pulled off the simple, vector style on the clothes. medyo alanganin lang ako re: the hand holding the apple s/t the fingers look a bit rigid (?) other than that i the colors really match. nice work :)

Ah yeah, the hand. Was gonna fix that but I had to go study for other classes.. ^^; Really should pay more attention to the small things next time!

I really like the composition of this! Interesting palette too. And how does one pull off the woodcut look digitally, really. XD

Thanks :)

I'm guessing textures and a bit more patience? I've been seeing lots of tutorials that make it seem like things were handmade...really difficult to make it convincing though!

Shit, this is really gorgeous.
FFFFFF honestly I admire people who work with rather simple styles but still make it look so good

I totally dig this, I can see the woodcut style for sure! And printmaking is super fun. You'd love it! :)

I think if I did it on paper or something it would've come out slightly more authentic..but I don't have a scanner at the moment. :(

Here's to hoping I can actually take the class!
