Some of my art is on display at UMBC tomorrow evening in the Commons, free refreshments etc.

Liam and I are back in MD. I already miss the Sarasota sunshine, but I know that getting my degree now is the best chance I'll ever have of being able to provide financial stability for my son. Liam is finally sleeping through the night for a week now, not just the lame 6 hours the doctors count as sleeping through, but really sleeping from 8pm until 7:30am. This is a very difficult time for me, but at least he is the happiest baby I have ever met.

Little Liam is doing well, he has been moved from the very intensive care side of the nicu to the less intensive care side which they call "progressive care" this means that he has been assessed to be out of the major danger zone. As long as he stays healthy and doesn't get sick he is on track to be home earlier than we thought at first, maybe ( Read more... )

We had a little bit of a surprise last week when our new son Liam decided that he was ready to be born NOW. I had an emergency C-section Thursday night (10-6-05) due to preeclampsia-, a pretty scary experience all things considered it was likely the most difficult thing I've been through. After a little bit of a scare this weekend we ended up get an ultrasound in the wee-hours of monday morning. Everything turned out fine, and the baby is healthy and as far as i can tell happy, it wasn't exactly a wave, but it did wiggle at us. I suppose i'm a little more traditional than many of my cohorts, it has taken me a while to come to terms with that. I am greatly relieved that although our timing is questionable at least we got the order right. We were married in September 2004, and the baby is due November 2005. much to Aubreys dismay we recognized his birthday today with cake and presents.

Quite a bit has changed since I last updated anything here, mostly because I hate writing anything. Plans have changed quite a bit, now I will be moving sometime in Jan-Feb to the Sarasota, FL area.
