It's hyperacusis, the sound sensitivity. I'm still afraid of shows & travel, though I've worn silicone earplugs for nearly a decade with no change to my tinnitus. Will have to see a doctor (ENT or audiologist), trying not to get too far ahead of myself here...kinda failing.
