I'm so glad that I decided to join this community, and reading your post just reaffirmed my love for this couple. Why? Because you must be the first person-- that I've seen at least --touch base with the long standing historical connection between the two. I have heard people say that Japan and China would not make sense as a couple because of their history, and your post gave me some hope that the little kitties in school actually took some time to read their history textbook. Hey wait, I'm still in school myself.Anyhow, I digress ( ... )

*clears throat* Well, it's always a pleasure to read about everyone else's opinions/reasonings for liking Japan/China, and don't worry--China is my little black dress for the Hetalia fandom so hah! for my unbiased-ness.

You know, I never really thought about their relationship like that; Yao seeing facets of Kiku that no one else would see, but I'm pretty sure that's because of my portrayal of Kiku (*cough*). I agree with that, to a certain degree, because in Hetalia, doesn't Kiku really open up with Greece and America and England? Well, it's just that I never quite saw the possibilities for Japan/China in Hetalia!Hetalia (but is possibly due to my er... reluctance to even fumble for straws, heheh ( ... )
