Lenalee momentarily grimaced as she caught glimpse of her reflection on one of the glasses as she rushed through the hallway of the dormitory. She really needed to find something else for her to wear. All her clothes were either black, her uniform included, or the hem barely reached halfway to her knees. And since they were going out to town, she found it sensible to wear something that covered more skin, despite the color stark against her already pale skin.

Her morning had been eventful, to say the least. Receiving her dueling sword was one thing. Meeting that strange new teacher in the gardens was another thing. And now, she was meeting new people and going shopping with them. She had yet to meet her brother but that could wait until then. Her worries hardly touched the disappearances of students or her new role as a duelist or even the memories she had supposedly lost. For now, she was going to enjoy herself before her life as a student started officially on Monday.

Smiling inwardly, Lenalee quickened her pace to the entrance.

It wasn't long before Kahoko caught sight of Lenalee. She had not met her yet, but it didn't seem like many people were rushing to the main gates or looking ready to shop. Kahoko smiled, standing up straight to meet the other girl. She was happy she could get someone to go with her on such short notice.

And there was only one person at the entrance gates when Lenalee had arrived there, a red-haired girl who was obviously waiting for someone. Or, to be exact, waiting for her. After all, who else would be standing at the entrance gates, all dressed up to go out? She skid to a halt, bowing slightly with an apologetic smile. Had she took too long again finding something to wear?

"Kahoko, right?" Lenalee still asked, her hand held out, certainly not wanting to mistake her for someone else. The last she wanted was to drag an unsuspecting person to go shopping with her in a place where she had never been to before.

"It's very nice to meet you in person."
