Chapter #24
Sitting on the couch in his apartment with a cup of minty lemon water, Yunho can’t stop recalling Junsu’s face in his mind when he asked about Yoochun’s condition outside the room. “What do the doctor mean by his depression is coming back? Is there something I need to know about Yoochun?” He is sure shock by the sudden expression on Junsu’s face. He didn’t see that face before, a face of seriousness that enough to bring goosebumps down one’s spine. That expression gave him a kind of confirmation that the guy in front of him still love his dongsaeng but for some reason that he just have to leave Yoochun’s side.
They were at the living room of Yoochun’s ward when Yunho told Junsu about what Yoochun have undergone for the past three years. “Your departure took a great toll on him.” Yunho began, “He locked himself at home not going anywhere even work, hoping you will turn up at the house one day. In the midst, he started making a mess in the house as a way to release his sadness. He skipped meals and sleep in the process too, making himself too weak to even get up. One day I drop by to see his condition, realised he is running a high fever. I rushed him to the hospital that’s when I know he is suffering from depression.” He noticed Junsu’s facial expression changes time to time when he is talking. By the time he finished, Junsu is in a state of sadness overwhelmed and guilt ate him up like hungry beast. Yunho understand that Junsu need time to digest what actually happens to Yoochun, so he left Junsu to swallow the facts while he take a look at the unconscious Yoochun.
Yunho whispered something against Yoochun’s ear that can’t be heard by Junsu in the living room, then he brush Yoochun’s bangs from his face and pat his hands before he left the ward to the both of them. He can guess that Junsu might have a lot of words to speak to Yoochun after what he had told him. Putting on his shades while walking towards the elevator, a small smile is shown on his face as the elevator door closes.
