banjo rock, social network embarrassment
So I've been listening to the Avett Brothers lately. I have to say that I really like their style of banjo/southern rock. I love the harmony and even though their themes are generally about troubled relationships, there are parts of the melody have an optimistic feel about them ( Read more... ) -

My neighbor is a musician, and he cracks me up. I often hear him playing his keyboard or his sax, but very occasionally singing. Sometime's he's not so good, but he's handling unchained melody pretty good right now. -

valentine's day
Valentine's day was fun. I was really, really sick last week with a virus. I ran a fever the entire week, and only left the house, once, to go to the doctor. Christmas!
Christmas was fun. Only one or two meltdowns, so things went pretty smoothly. Marv was able to come up to chicago, so that was nice. We were a little nervous about it.
