I received a call early this morning that my Grandmother passed away. I was fortunate to be able to visit her last week in California, and spend time with the family. It was fun telling our favorite Grandma stories and to celebrate her life of 91 years. More importantly, I was able to tell her how much she means to me and that she made a difference

My Nana my fathers mother - When she died my brothers didn't understand how i took it so well - simple i had spent time with her recently and we talked and joked and laughed - and we said everything that needed saying. she knew i loved her and i knew she accepted me. I am very glad that you got to spend the time with her last week. I am sorry for your loss but glad you had that time together.
