One of our adopted family's granddaughters was married yesterday. The wedding took place 120 miles from our home (two & a half hour drive). The church was full, the sermon was brief and to the point, the kids were great, and the music was wonderful. The church orchestra is up to about 30 members (maybe more) and, although not professional, the sound they produce was magnificent (at least yesterday). Flight was canceled, Delta put me on a later flight, I called and said I won't be able to get out of my driveway until Thursday morning. Delta let me change flights to Thursday at 12:25. No Charge. Anyone who watches the weather can tell that this is a snowacaust (Linda's word). Too much snow and no place to put it.

The story of our weather for the last week is told above. 20 some inches of snow last Wednesday. 8 inches of snow yesterday. Snow pellets, rain, and freezing tonight.

I think I should have fled to Phoenix the first week in January!
