*Oh I do believe in all the things you see; what comes is better then what came before*

How can I describe emotions for which there are no words?  How can I put into phrases and syllables that which can only be felt?  And what substantial feeling is ever really founded on inconsequential and largely irrelevant words?  After all, a word can only be ( Read more... )

You know, after reading that message things started to feel a little better. Like I knew that all along, but I had just forgotten it. I think I was temporarily blinded in some way. Of course you are right, and I really needed someone to set me strait. Thank you so much for illuminating my path when I needed you most. It was getting awfully dark.

Anytime the pathway gets dark, all you need to do is ask to borrow my candle, my dearest. We've been there for each other since I can remember, and I don't plan on changing that for a second. Nay, for an instant.
I am always here to set you straight, for any reason, or to set you askew, if the occasion were to arise. I am always there for you, Jacqueline, and I always will be.

I really do hate to play devils advocate. Hopefully nothing I say can extinguish said candle and the light it provides into our daily lives. So I begin by agreeing with you. Life is opportunity and our mortal and immortal souls drive us to fill that opportunity with expansion of our horizons. Painters paint and dancers dance because we are better people for it. When things are good the world is a modicum of possibility. However, when things are bad....really bad...when people feel so terrible that they dont want to exist any longer, what stops us from killing ourselves. We are afraid. Afraid of pain. Afraid of nothingness. Afraid of eternal darkness. Afraid of dying alone. Afraid of not being remembered. But most importantly, afraid of not being able to fufill your desires...to be able to extend your soul.
And so we are in the balance of existence.
