Dog Day!

Today (actually yesterday now as it's taken me this long to get the pictures uploaded!) marks the end of the summer dog ban on most of our local beaches. To celebrate, I took Kiri out, and it seems that everyone else had the same idea - I've never seen so many dogs on the beach at one time

She looks like she's having a great time. Nothing like a dog to get you outside and moving. They enjoy it so much that their pleasure is contagious.

It's a joy to take her for a long walk or down to the beach. She gets so excited when I say those words!

Oh that is lovely!

We were really lucky because in July, we were able to take Billy on Newport Beach (west Wales) They didn't have a dog ban. And then the other week we were on the Cleddau Estuary (very clean water) and so Billy could paddle and swim there.

Aw - poor dogs not being allowed to play in the summer. Hurrah that there is still nice weather for you both to enjoy the beach now she's allowed back.
