At my firm we usually get a bonus after working on any particularly long job. So after spending the months of Feb & Mar pouring my time (if not soul) into a client, I expected something big.

Well it came today. My thank-you, appreciation $10 Best Buy gift card. No note.

I can't stand airlines! this is the worst yet.. a trip from 7/26-8/17 (yeah it's suddenly longer now--hopefully) is $930 from dulles to madrid, connecting at JFK. So then I tried searching JFK-Madrid, giving me $650 but connecting thru miami. Then I tried Miami-Madrid, giving me $925 and I checked, they are the SAME flights the ny trip uses ( Read more... )

I haven't LJ'd in a while because absolutely nothing is happening. Work is scaled down to a more manageable 55ish hours. I had a cold over the weekend which has kept me in. It is ash wednesday and i'm eating meat and feeling guilty.

I kicked and punched and got 22 continuous hours off from work this weekend and went skiing. It was with my favorite governmental auditor, Mike, his bf, and three other guys I didn’t know. Yesterday was just one of those "worst day ever" sorts of deals. First I have a crappy day at work, which is about par for the course now because it's miserable.
