lol, yes, Bones is wise like that (and he thinks that watching Kirk and Spock is more entertaining than the latest holo-vid, thus enjoys his front-row seat ;)).

Thank you, darling, happy K/S day to you, too!

Ah, courage---courage is surely what it takes in order to make that first move, so tentative, so halting yet so necessary if on is to continue on with not only service but life itself...

I ADORE this story!!

And as much as he coveted this quiet here with Spock, tired and warm and loved, it occurred to him he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Unbelievably romantic, yet seamlessly credible...a brilliant tale, perfect for K/S Day (and happiest of them all to you)...

Eroticism white-hot...my fave! Your style is fabulous, I've already read this twice, determined to return a bit later and have yet another go at it! :)

the sonofabitch hadn’t even managed to get Jim’s middle initial correct while going about it.

That scene always riled the living daylights out of me...I mean, Gary, SERIOUSLY? James R Kirk? Like, Gareeeee, WTF...

Yeah, it always bugged me, too. That's why I had to put that parting shot in the fic, lol.

So glad you appreciated it *hugs*.

Happy (belated) K/S day! ;)

I loved this fic, you pictured Jim very well, so different and yet there's still something similar to the reboot Kirk you write so wonderfully. He's calmer, his approach more adult, he swears less and it's less insane but the fears are always the same. And this Spock, awrrr, in the end it's him the one to make the first step: one would never never believe that the intrepid Jim Kirk backs down when his heart is involved but it certainly fits the characters to act that way.

VEry, very good reading here. :)

Thank you, happy K/S day to you, too (a little late but better late but everyday should be K/S day, lol)!!!

Thank you so much, darling. I'm so touched you enjoyed this. I love that you noticed the similarities between the two Kirks. I did it intentionally, so it made my day that you caught it. As always, you are too kind and I greatly, greatly appreciate your heartwarming words! :)
