Love this story, not sappy or annoying at all, but kind of cute and endearing in its own way. That's so like AOS Kirk to assume that you are feeling his groove and he doesn't need to work on properly communicating.

Would be interesting to see Spock's POV, although it would probably consist of him being confused, pissed off, and hurt, finally making an overture, and finally finding out that he'd jumped to conclusions without getting all the facts ... but covers that momentary uncomfortable sensation of feeling stupid by kissing Kirk silly. He'll never notice, amirite? Spock is both sneaky and devious.

Thank you so much! I'm so thrilled you enjoyed it. What wonderful, heartwarming feedback! It put such a huge, beaming smile on my face.

And lol, yes, I agree, Spock is a rather devious sort. Jim would need that type, I think. Any other type and he'd run all over them. ;)

Wow, your writing is really quite excellent in terms of similies and explaining the human vs. Vulcan emotional POV :)

But I DO think Jim is a masochist and he learned it from watching Mulder on the X-Files. JK sorta...

Poor boys. Why would Spock assume that Jim would use him like that? He's not THAT dumb... I hope.

It was a great drama, though.

I am really jealous of your descriptions, as it would take me a whole day to write like that! A plus on descriptions.

I thought it was one of the Best X-Mas "Pageants" Ever!

Wow. I'm speechless. What wonderful feedback! Made my whole night. I'm so tickled you enjoyed it! Thank you!

Your X-Files reference has me feeling nostalgic, I miss that show!

Spock dumb? Never! He just views commitment very different then he thinks humans do (Vulcans having their life-long bonds and humans having their short-term marriage contracts - which they alluded to in the ST:TMP novelization - in the 23rd century). Particularly in a case like Jim Kirk, who has made no inclination of settling down in the past. Spock would be aware that Jim is extraordinarily fond of him, but it would be up to Jim, I think, to let Spock know just how deeply that regard ran. Or, that was my thoughts when writing this anyway, lol.

How have you been? I haven't seen you in forever! (Probably just as much my fault, lol, I recently moved and haven't been online all that much, or at all, for months). How is your sister? I remember you both from KiScon 2011. I hope life is treating you both very well. :)

Unfortunately I had a hospital stay this september (I have bipolar disorder) but now I am on some great meds and am doing much better! My psychiatrist and therapist have been just instrumental in my recovery process, as have my family, friends, and my two kitties :) I was pleased that I could participate in the K/S advent thing this year because last year I couldn't because I was sick.

My sister is pretty fantastic. She has been in a wonderful relationship for over two years and is in the process of starting her own business online.

I know I loved meeting you at the KiSCon! My mom said something about my spending so much money to go there as being a little "illogical", but it was something I really needed to do, you know? I think having met so many authors face to face really helped me grow.

Glad I could make your night.

Happy Holidays :)

*hugs* I'm so sorry to hear you had such a hard time recently but am glad that you're feeling better and that you found treatment that works for you. My thoughts are with you, I hope you continue to have many more great days.

I'm so happy for your sister, I wish her the best of luck! What is her online business? Maybe I'll mosey over to her website! :)

LOL, KiScon was definitely money very well spent. I was so thrilled to get to put faces to names. I understand your sentiments entirely.

A great big happy holidays to you as well!
