Procrastinating

Feb 24, 2011 18:49

Well, i'm done procrastinating on RL issues IRL,  for the moment.  I think i'll come and do it here instead (I mean i give up on the notion that mooching around avoiding my PC is in some sense more productive than sitting at the thing)  I want to post something for just a very small, select friends group though. Is that possible without a paid ( Read more... )

Walkie! Walkiewalkiewalkie hello! :D

You can do it without a paid account. You click on the Home link at the top of the screen, then under the Friends menu you go to Custom Friends Groups, and then you can make a friends group with anybody you want in it or not in it. Then when you make a post, you can choose which friends group can see it.

LOL about procrastinating. You know, you wouldn't believe how productive my mother is when she is procrastinating on doing her tax. Amazing how much *else* she gets done instead :-D

sigh.
i am procrastinating applying for disability by working, and procrastinating phone calls by cleaning the house.
I wonder if I am procrastinating my anxiety and if it will come back if I stop making fish.
It is 27C here. It is February. I think my brains have been slow cooked to the point of ennui. It makes procrastination even easier than when I am up North and call it cabin fever.

Heyy Wilf...i mean Wolf (sorry couldn't resist. hehe. i thought you sounded just a little bit wilfish and your sig was open to interpretation).

And Leonie :) *waves*

I think you sound an awful lot like tigerweave's Mum, Wolf. I wish i could clain to be so productive.

I've been procrastinating for about 20 years on writing anything substantial, in spite of all the encouragement my lovely friends give me. I have ideas, but i lack that clear spark inspiration, and i never could buy into the "writing for writing's" sake thing

Nobetheless I've made a start on a ruthlessly frank bit of autobiographical whatnot, which i'll likely realise is nothing more than self-indulgent twaddle in a moment or two, and subside back into procrastinating. It wouldn't be my first false start.

I think i might post the first installment for you to read anyway. If nothing else will make it woefully clear that my procrastination has come to pathological extremes.

Would L-j be an appropriate place to post it?

yes, i would like to read it. i probably could coax out noah or jack too.
pathological extremes either should be the name of a song by chumbawamba or a band itself.

The chorus to the song would be "my procrastination is pathologically extreme"
I wonder if I could do it to "tubthumping?"

Our userpics identify us. I have this one and one that is more whimsical. You will recognize Shashi's - they are his "eggs."

Hmm. I already repied to this but carefully avoided names. Why?
Because you sound like Noah to me but your userpic is labelled "Jack". There is no Noahpic! (I found them all)

Os the line between Jack and Noah getting blurred? I think maybe it is :) But. hey ! how would you handle the age-gap?

Excuse my idiocy
