non-calm hiatus

It's amazing how quickly the odd few hours of feeling right as rain can raise my expectations. This was a pretty stupid time to start a few conversations. My incipient replies to Pyraxis keep getting driven into the background by savage bouts of asthma accompanied/interspersed by hayfever, neuralgia and a few other unpleasantsymptoms . that's weird about the propylene glycol. i use it to kill germs in the winter so i don't get pneumonia from allergies. i put it in the nebulizer. but yuck, as an ingredient in syrup? i'll have to look at our labels.

i think there was something in the vaping literature about vegetable glycerine being a bad thing. not sure. you should come back to intensity, if only to get on lestat's ask me thread. he would love to answer questions like that, though lately he's been doing meth so he's been less reliable.

here you can get loratadine in gelcaps that don't have corn starch in them. if you have a wheat sensitivity then you can have corn and other grains (including rice) sensitivities. i can't remember the mechanism, but in lay terms your body mis-identifies other things as gluten so you get the same reaction even if there is none in the food.

i sympathize about the neuralgia.

huh. the glyphosate information sounds interesting. also scary. i have had bad reactions to poisons all my life. can't use bug or plant killer sprays.

do look into it! it's not just GM crops affected. the bleedin' farmers have started using glyphosate on non-GM crops too, to increase the yield. They spray them with glyphosate a few days before harvest. This stresses the plant (to put it mildly) and makes it produce more seeds.
