Thank you for all being a part of the democratic process. If you got out and voted, that's great. We all need to be heard, we all make a difference ( Read more... )

Yeah, people go too far with their emotions about this. They say that we're stupid for who we vote for, then they make comments like that...I think Alec Baldwin said the same thing 4 years ago. I didn't see him saying that this time.

It's all ***opinion***.

If your girlfriend cheated on you, you wouldn't call her a bitch?
I doubt it. People say mean things in denial, outrage, frustration etc.

If people don't like it, they can take me off their friends list.

Yeah, but calling everyone that voted for Bush stupid is just plain ignorant. You're not pointing out one person in doing that. If it's one person, and you're calling them a bitch, then that's fine.
My problem is the hateful things that are being said, and by calling people stupid, yeah, I'm being included because I voted straight Republican. I'll go toe to toe with anyone as far as my intellect goes. And you know what? My gf is a democrat, but I don't talk shit about her, we just agree to disagree. I didn't even take down her Kerry sign in her yard, someone else did. I even offered to get her another one.
You see, the thing is, people like ME, the stupid guy, want people to get out and vote. I don't want to hear complaining from people that didn't vote.
Look at the map. Look at all the red. Know what it means? Values. That's what this election was won on. I'd rather live around my people and the people in the midwest any day over California or New York.
Do you even get what I'm saying?

Absolutely, I get what you're saying.
It still doesn't mean people are not going to vent in frustration.

Osama himself said that if it was freedom he hated, he'd have bombed Sweden instead of America. Stop buying into the crap.
