Hi everyone, and welcome back. I'm now at the end of my second week in Sweden, so I thought another update would be appropriate. On a side note, a crazy, drunk, probably homeless man is screaming about something in Swedish in the park near my apartment, and his lilting tones are coming in clearly through my window

"Stars and Stripes" is an awesome march, with or without nationalistic associations. It should be played everywhere.

Agreed. The same goes for the Soviet National Anthem and "Finlandia".

The Familjen videos were actually enjoyable- nifty art and the music wasn't as obnoxious as I usually find techno. Also, good call on pointing me towards the Daily Show episodes I'd missed... now back to biochem :(

I would like to advocate for American microbreweries here. Portland (as you may know) has more microbreweries than any other city in the US, most of which are quite commendable and versatile.
