I need recommendations for things to read this summer now that I have a shiny new library card (even though I haven't been to ICPL in 2 years and lost my card long ago, they still had my fines in their computers... good for them.)

Does anyone want two tickets to see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, with the Steve Winwood band opening? Concert is July 2nd (a Wednesday) at 7:30pm at Chicago's United Center. We found out last week that there was one confirmed case of TB in a student, and that number has now risen to 4. Given how small Truman is, the health center has shut down to provide TB tests to the campus. Just when I thought recital would go smoothly and without major problems, one of our guest groups dropped out on us today. Not only are all the programs printed, so we have to go through 1500 programs to black out their dance/names with markers and rulers, but it fucks up the order of dances. Awesome.

While I was dry, warm and happy in IC this weekend, Jo, Cassie, Drew and Sam (all dressed as M&Ms) jumped in the lake for Polar Bear Plunge and got a fair amount of camera time during the news story.
