Error 404 was rejected by Weird Tales. I'm going to go through it, read / review it, play with it a bit until I feel it's a stronger story, and I'm going to submit it to Cemetary Dance. Admittedly, that's going to be a longer wait, but it's a second stop on the train as it were ( Read more... )

Well, I've hit it. It's been 45 days since I submitted "Error 404", and I still haven't had a response yet. I'm choosing to see this as a good thing.

In other news, my job rules. I help people. Or try to. Sometimes, there is no helping people. But more often than not, you can. And that's my job. I help people. Pretty kickass, huh.

Because it's been nearly two weeks, and I've yet to hear back from Weird Tales. They give a response time of two weeks on submitted fiction. This might mean they're being slow, or this might be they're giving "Error 404" a second read. I'm trying to not get my hopes up too much ( Read more... )

March is never a good month for me. I get strangely reflective during it. But at least my non-emotional problems have changed.
