I just knew someone was going to comment about Sam's selfishness. And no doubt, he is definitely being selfish, but Sam always has been stubborn, ya know?

Y'know, contrary to the previous reviewers, I think Sam is right in a way. He is aware of how complicated this could get, and of how that could affect his child. He's just looking out for Mikey. If it were just him, he'd take Dean back in a second, but with a kid? It's different. So, while I think Sam should change his mind eventually (once Dean has proven that he can commit to this new family), I also think that Sam's reaction is logical and justified. :)

First of all

Dean had been sucker-punched in the stomach, he was sure. “What are you talking about? I’m his father.”

that KILLED me. It reminded me of that scene in the movie ''i am sam'' where they took lucy away! so so sad.

Anyway, I also wanted to say that I understand why Sam wouldn't want Dean to just be back in his life and them be an insta-family.

Dean's a hunter, always has been. He can't just snap out of it like that, and be a dad and a husband. (I'm assuming here).

Sam's just worried for his kid that's all, and Dean never actually said that he was going to quit hunting...even if he did I'm not sure Sam would/should believe him.

Either way, I just want the boys to be together and happy, and all that jazz.

Keep up the good work, and I want more soooooon!

I'm so glad you can see it at this angle. Sam is definitely going to be cautious now that his son's emotions are involved.
And the boys will definitely end up together and happy eventually.
And as far as the movie comparison, I've never seen the movie, but being that I think you compared them in a positive way, I'm gonna say, thankies!
