have you ever thought about the word "outgrew"? it makes sense... you grew to the point that your clothes no longer fit. but it also holds some connotation of competition, which to me is kind of silly! other words that start with "out" are "outshine" or "outlast" or "outrun", meaning you stood out more, lasted longer, or ran faster than someone ( Read more... )

probably the saddest thing in the world is when you look up on a clear night, spot a light, close your eyes and wish for something you want so bad, open them, and realize you just wished on an airplane.
