Well, I can't say 'I know how you feel' because I haven't been in that situation myself but... I'm sure they're not disappointed in you. It was probably a shock for them but I don't think they see you as a failure for not going ahead with it.

I know exactly what you're going through. Been there myself.

I hope things get better for you from here on out.
In case you ever do want to go back to the uni and decide on a degree that you would really like to pursue, things will seem so much easier and better the next time around.

Hang in there.

(((sending good vibes)))

Thanks for your support, guys. I am officially withdrawing from the university this week, and now that my parents aren't angry they're being more supportive of me. I'm interested to see how I handle this!

Good luck with everything!

Does this mean you're moving out of that house, too?

Damn, well, hope it turns out to be absolutely the right thing to do. I DO know how you feel because I feel like dropping out of uni every term when I always don't get enough practice in (seriously...)

Heh, you wouldn't be a student if you didn't rethink your degree choice a few times!

But if you're sure, then it's all good. Decisions are good! :)
