I really liked the arguement between Libby and Ma Hunkel. They're both defensive about choices they've made.
I also like that Karen gives Courtney very sensible advice about living now and not letting a possible future disturb her overmuch.

This fic challenged me and I'm a glad there were parts that worked for you. :)

I think you really nailed the intergenerational aspects of the team, and I loved the glimpse you gave of just how large, expansive, and history laden the team is. The "where are they now?" discussion/roll call was awesome! Its great to see some of the minor, overlooked characters like Sandra, Paula, and Danette get a shout out.
Also, Molly and her FBI connections!
Thank you for posting; this was an excellent story!

I can't stop smiling. It's perfect! I especially like the little touches, such as the family's prayer (MOLLY!) and how Todd has learned to be comfortable kissing Damon in public.
Alan's guilt over Jennie's death because he could have found comfort had it been Todd's was especially powerful for me. My brother-in-law was schizophrenic and unable to use effective medication. I can completely understand Alan's sentiment and I found his decision to take action in his relationship with Todd being spurred by Jennie's loss very moving!
I also loved the parallel between Damon and Kyle and Alan telling Todd, Damon would be held to the same standards. Alan may be accepting, but he's still demanding. This line - moralistic artifact from prehistory - made me laugh out loud. It fits Alan and how he comes across very, very well. I adored how he arched his eyebrow at the door; he seemed to be enjoying himself there ( ... )

You were my number one suspect, but I wasn't entirely sure.
