mp3 file management:  I need a software, preferably free, that will allow me to modify the information affiliated with the given mp3 file.  I need to do more than just change the name . . . I need to change the title, the album title, etc.  A program which allows this modification in a spreadsheet type format would be ideal.

what say you?

If you're using a PC, i would recommend Tag & Rename. I had to re-tag about 20gigs of music with it, only took a day or two to go through.

Yep, iTunes for me since it works on Mac and Windows. It's really nice when you can select entire albums at a time, select information and update one or more things in the form and apply it in one shot. Very easy.
