Oooooh... This was good. So incredibly sensual without actually getting at all explicit, and at the same time so emotionally dark. I loved the way it was all a little out of control - they don't trust each other, and Jack knows something is wrong, but they keep on playing with each other anyway. Lovely. Though also rather sad at points, in particular I liked Jack noting that Ianto's appreciation of simple touch was genuine. Anyway, very nice fic - bravo!

I don't mean woobie Ianto, but I figured he'd be starved for human contact, and it was very much my intent that he be a willing participant in his own seduction. And, no, they can't stay away from each other, but who could?

I agree. This was my favourite line in the whole (excellent) story: The odd tenderness Jack feels at the realization that Ianto has not been touched in a very long time surprises him. I love the way the whole thing plays out between them. I love the way you've painted both of them as both manipulating each other and sincerely interested in each other at the same time. Great job.

Wow! How can a pg-13 story be so hot. I loved the seduction, you really captured all the little details. '...tries to absorb what knowledge he can from the air that Ianto leaves like jetsam behind him.'

Loved the bit about Ianto's ankle. Those Victorians really were onto something.

'...why office romance is so foreign and tantalizing to him to begin with.'
That line really reminded me of Jack's 'I find offices exotic' line in KKBB.

I really "struggled" with the rating. I ultimately went with the R because I really wouldn't find this appropriate for 13-year-olds, but I am definitely proud of that the erotic quality I was going for came through with very *little* action.
