I've been pretty impressed with how Marvel has been handling their movies of late, I'm glad to hear the Avengers is worthwhile. I'm so happy the days of the awful 70s and 80s versions of comic movies seem to be long gone!

They've hit a magic formula - it may not work forever but they've cracked something that DC hasn't been able to. Marvel FTW!

The Avengers was my fav comic book when I was a kid. I'm planning on seeing it when it opens here!
Many of the scenes were filmed in my home town of Cleveland, OH last year. I was visiting during that time and got to see a lot of pics in the paper and on TV of the various sites around town where they filmed.

I would have loved to have been in the city where they filmed...incidentally they announced last week that the second Wolverine movie is being shot in Sydney (and Japan) so I might try and sneak a glimpse of the filming if they do it out in the streets :)
