Just now, Allie left for the East coast and then Prague. I can’t remember the last time I felt this sad about saying good-bye. Although I know that this is by no means the end of our friendship, it is certainly the end of an era. That is, it is end of our beginning, marked by the first time we met first year through right now

you've captured the essence i see between the two of you. it always made me happy to see how openly you have so much love for one another.

Beautiful. Listening to Sigur Ros while reading this letter may be overkill for me. Allie and JC, you have both touched me in a way that you will never know. I know this because I've never met anyone like either of you, yet you've met so many me's. From experience, when you hear each other's voices on the phone, you won't feel the distance, only a deep connected love that only you can share.
