I love being a graphics guy, it gives me an excuse to look at all the things around me as closely as i want. I can freely marvel at the intricate details of plants, and spots/dirt/weird stuff/broken concrete/fallen leaves are no longer annoying or boring but interesting textures ( Read more... )

So, yeah, this week hasnt gone as expected. Basically what happened is that I went to the eye doctor to check out the wierd blurriness I had been having in my right eye, and she said that i had a retinal detachment and needed immediate surgery.
