so it's the first day of class (which always provokes undue anxiety), and i found myself muttering while waiting for the elevator, "it's better than taking your clothes off for a living, it's better than taking your clothes off for a living." which it is, kinda.

lately i've been having dreams that i confuse with reality. no, i'm not *quite* crazy, but it seems that my dreams are taking off where my everyday life ends. i'll get a brief "hello" email from a pal i don't talk to often, and then i'll have a dream abut a much longer exchange, waking up to wondering, during the day, if indeed we had talked.
